Today was a massive first day for Archlight!
The Biggest we have ever had in our 18 months since creation! I think everyone is super hyped for the best Era of Archlight yet and tons of things to come including The Warzones(coming in 1 week), A New Awakening Boots Quest (coming in 4 weeks), and many many more things to come! Today we had over 1500 different players login and play Archlight Online, Peaking at 800 Online! We are excited to deliver you tons of awesome content every single week from here onward! That includes new dungeons, new quests, new spawns and new events. This has and always will be our commitment, providing a project that is constantly updated and worked on by a professional team.
We are so excited for the content to come and the consistently growing future of Archlight and we are so happy to have you guys with us for the journey!

COINS RESSURECTED FROM THE DEAD
One crucial thing for Archlight is that through any Era, we ensure that every player knows every dollar they spend in support of our project will never be lost. We are proud that every single dollar donated for since our first launch in August 2015 is still in the account of the player who has purchased those points. And years from now it will remain as so. Additionally promotion tokens will be compensated based on points donated. What this means is even for the players who did not donate 80 euro donations but multiple smaller donations, you will receive promotion tokens for the thresholds you have donated for (REJOICE).
To prevent flooding of the market we, like in every era, give back points over a spread time. This helps even the playing field for all the new players on Day 1 especially. We have had the opportunity to test this 3 different ways now, and have decided on what we think is the best way for the new incoming player base and the returning one. One major change we are making this Era was mentioned above, is players who donated smaller amounts multiple times, and not just large donations, will also receive promotion tokens based on their total amount of coins redeemed! Essentially, for every 1000 coins you get redeemed, you will receive a promotion token that can be redeemed in game for bonus rewards. List of promotion items at the NPC can be seen on our Wikipedia page. This Era we will also be giving coins back slightly less frequently, but in much larger amounts. This is primarily to ease the time on the staff re-adding these.

1 Hour Before Launch - 2000 Coins Unlocked + 2 Promotion Tokens!
48 Hours(2 Day) After Launch - 3000 Coins Unlocked + 3 Promotion Tokens!
5 Days After Launch - 4000 Coins Unlocked + 4 Promotion Tokens!
8 Days After Launch - 5000 Coins Unlocked + 5 Promotion Tokens!
11 Days After Launch - 5000 Coins Unlocked + 5 Promotion Tokens!
14 Days After Launch - 5000 Coins Unlocked + 5 Promotion Tokens!
All points after this will be unlocked at an accelerated 2-4x Rate
Legacy Rewards Unlocked
All Legacy Rewards will be unlocked on December 9th. Last Era we introduced Legacy Rewards about half way through the Era. The reason we are releasing all the legacy rewards at one time on the 9th is due to the fact that it is an added boost of items that was more balanced in the middle of an Era, not on launch day.
Additionally, some legacy perks have been modified as many have pointed out it's better to do new donations on different accounts than one account. Due to this we have slightly nerfed some of the low tier ones, and will be increasing the reward from the high tier ones before these Legacy Rewards are given back out on December 9th.

Mount Speed Increase
On Archlight Online, movement speed is capped at 750 movement speed. What this means is that the max movement speed a player can go is 750. This is due to the high level nature of our game to keep players at a fair speed based on their ping (higher speed = advantage to lower ping players). This speed capp allows for more entertaining pvp and gameplay. However, mounts we're serving little to no use due to this system as they did not add extra movement speed but strictly a cosmetic benefit. We have slightly reworked the way the mount speedboost works to now give an amount ontop of the 750 capped speed. What this means is a player with a mount equipped could move up to 790 movement speed as opposed to someone without. Mounts give anywhere from 10-40 movement speed. This is not a massive boost, but a small one to make using a mount, actually feel like being on a mount...

Here is a rough list (very rough, as he edited almost every spell on archlight) of the balances we made to the following classes.
We have set up a very strenuous testing center for multiple staff and tutors to run each through vocation, in multiple stages (weak gear, low level, high level, strong gear, pre specialization, post specialization) through a series of tests to accurately measure their explosiveness, overall damage per second and sustain per second. Based off dozens and dozens of hours of testing, these are the balances that have been made. More balance work will continue and be more actively monitored and tested. These are the changes that have been made.
Berserker early game DPS slightly buffed.
Monk late game DPS lowered by 62%
Guardians white damage (melee attack damage) Increased by 110%.
Necro late game DPS lowered by 31%
Archers health per level changed from 10 > 15
Archers mana per level changed from 15 > 10
Lifesteal lowered by 32.5% to match the increase in Archers healing
Archer Ammo now specific to Archer (mages etc can no longer use a grasping roots ammo to abuse having 2 grasping root enchants)
Grasping roots stun duration reduced by 40%
